Bio

Small Town Story

Born and raised in the tiny farm town of Wilbur, WA, Lila Rose truly understands the meaning of "small town living." With there not being much to do in a town of just over 800 people, Lila took an interest in music at a young age. She has been singing for audiences since she was about five years old, and started writing and performing her own songs at the age of nine. In 2017, Lila moved across the country to attend school in the city of her dreams, Nashville. She spent four years there studying Songwriting at Belmont University, playing shows, and meeting other writers, but quickly realized that Nashville was not everything she had dreamed it would be. Lila found herself being pulled back West towards the mountains and deserts where she felt her songs truly fit in. With influences such as Townes Van Zandt and Willie Nelson, along with contemporary artists such as Tyler Childers, Colter Wall, Charley Crockett, and Ryan Bingham, Lila takes her songwriting back to the times of outlaw tales while mixing in real emotion, believing that stories don’t always have to be true but feelings do. She now calls the state of Texas her home and hopes to make an impression within the Texas Country Music Scene with the recent release of her first single, “Life Lived Wrong,” which established Lila Rose as a recording artist, gained over 10,000 Spotify streams in less than one month, and cast her Outlaw soul across the globe.
